Russian Investment Art Rating 49ART was founded in 2017 to increase public interest in contemporary Russian art and improve its investment potential. The Rating 49ART is aimed to present Russian contemporary art to general audience and promote the development of the Russian art market.

49ART brings together leading experts on contemporary Russian art including representatives of museum community, art critics, gallery owners, curators.

Rating 49ART is a non-ranked list of outstanding contemporary Russian artists under the age of 50 working in painting, drawing and sculpture techniques in a broad interpretation of these terms, as well as assemblies, installations, photography and video art.
