The art duet of Mikhail Leykin (1968, Volgograd) Maria Sumnina (1977, Moscow) was founded in 1999. Mikhail graduated from the Moscow Architecture Institute in 1994; from 1997 to 2001 he was a member of the group “Iced of Architects”. Maria was born in Moscow in 1977, in 2001 she graduated from the Moscow State University of Printing Arts, faculty of artistic and technical design of printed products. In 2007, 2014, 2015 and 2016 they became finalists of the Kandinsky Prize, in 2011 of the Innovation Prize. In 2013 they became laureates of the Terna Prize.
