Alexander Borovsky

1952, Leningrad

«Alexander D. Borovsky is by right considered the most highly estimated art critic ... In fact, Alexander Davidovich Borovsky is the head of the postmodern and post-postmodern art department and is the major specialist in his area of expertise» (Museum.ru)

«I am still inspired by women, good cuisine and, however funny it may look, by the art. I put these points in this very sequence, because when a person says that he is inspired by art only, then he must be given a kick in his bottom immediately and must be sent off as a junior clerk» (A. Borovsky, Sobaka.ru)

«He is the author of a funny and easy book about Kandinsky and Velázquez “The history of art for dogs”, which is read by artists, critics and children» (Sobaka.ru)
